Real numbers, and what they exclude
Most agencies keep this off the page. We would rather you knew in two minutes whether we are in your range — and what is genuinely not included, which is where quotes actually differ.

Every project starts with a written scope and a fixed number before any build begins. Scope changes are re-quoted in writing so you always decide with the cost in front of you.

What is not included
The single most useful question to ask any quote is what it excludes. Here is ours, stated up front rather than discovered later.
- Stock photography and video licensing
- Third-party software licences and subscriptions
- Ad spend and card processing fees
- Content writing beyond the agreed pages
- Ongoing hosting, unless bundled in a care plan

Pricing questions
Because "it depends" wastes everybody's time. You need to know within a few minutes whether we are in your range. These are real ranges we quote against, not anchors designed to get you on a call.
Fixed price against a written scope for defined work, which is most projects. Genuinely exploratory work runs on capped time and materials with weekly visibility. What we avoid is a fixed price on an unexamined brief — that always resolves through change requests.
Typically 40% on signature, 40% at an agreed milestone, 20% on launch. Discovery is invoiced separately up front. Retainers are billed monthly in advance.
Fifteen to twenty per cent of the build cost, held by you rather than padded into our quote. It is not for us getting it wrong — it is for the things you will want once you see the work, which is normal and healthy.
Yes, we can spread payments across a project for smaller clients where cash flow is the constraint. Ask — we would rather structure it than lose sensible work over timing.
